After the recommendation from my dentist to use toothpaste with peroxide in it, I tried PeroxiCare. I couldn't even use it; it tasted so bad, I threw it away. After trying Colgate, I can now follow my dentist's recommendation. The taste isn't like toothpaste without peroxide but tons better than PeroxiCare. This product also had all the other features I look for in toothpaste. I'll continue to use it!

The first time I brushed my teeth with Colgate with Baking Soda & Peroxide I didn't care for it - especially the taste. However, with each use, I changed my mind. I kept thinking of the benefits from the added baking soda and peroxide, which should help with fresh breath and whitening of the teeth. While it isn't my favorite toothpaste, I'd recommend it to my family and friends.

Wow, you can buy anything from Amazon. This toothpaste is the best on the market. I take a tube of this stuff in my suitcase when I travel. The aroma that leaks from the opening of the tube, while you squeeze the pasty-pastiness onto the bristles of a tooth rubbing device, has a minty elegance that is only fit for a queen.

What can I say about the tooth paste? Well besides the fact that this is a good paste with nice taste, there was a different reason why I got it. I was buying the replacement heads for the automatic tooth brush and needed to go over $25, so this makes a perfect filler.

I am a dentist that recommends Colgate-brand toothpastes to my patients. However, I always caution my patients that the term "Whitening" is a very generic term and is NOT related to tooth bleaching, which some associate with the term "Whitening". If you want to get your teeth really whiter, then I recommend a product like Crest White Strips. This has a true bleaching agent that will "whiten" your teeth much better that any "Whitening" toothpaste.
I like Colegate products for the fluoride and the low abrasivity, but I truly believe that the "Whitening" claim is a gimmick. Good product, but I don't like the possibly misleading advertising.

I think it's hard to beat Colgate products. This one is no exception. It really cleans your mouth but if you're a tea drinker like me, you'll really see a difference in the color of your teeth after using this product. It is recommended by the ADA (watch out for those that are not i.e. Aquafresh) and has been around for years and years (they invented the first toothpaste "powder"). I have awesome checkups which are without all that nasty scraping because of the tartar protection. It really does work and is well worth the money.
